At COMPUTEX 2024 in Taipei, NVIDIA's CEO Jensen Huang showcased the company's progress in robotics and industrial digitization. He emphasized how manufacturers like Foxconn are leveraging NVIDIA's technologies, including Omniverse, Isaac, and Metropolis, to create advanced robotic facilities. "Robotics is here. Physical AI is here. This is not science fiction, and it's being used all over Taiwan," Huang remarked.
Accelerated Platforms and AI Factories
NVIDIA revealed that its accelerated platforms are now fully functional. From AI PCs equipped with NVIDIA RTX to companies constructing AI factories using NVIDIA’s comprehensive computing platform, the future of computing emphasizes speed and efficiency. "The future of computing is accelerated," Huang asserted.
New Semiconductor Roadmap
Huang introduced a new semiconductor release roadmap on an annual cycle. NVIDIA plans to launch the Rubin platform following the upcoming Blackwell platform, which will feature advanced GPUs, an Arm-based CPU called Vera, and new networking technologies like NVLink 6. "Our fundamental approach is simple: build entire data center scales, disaggregate and sell parts annually, and push technological boundaries," Huang explained.
