
The Startup Mahakumbh, scheduled from March 18th to 20th, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam and ITPO, will feature a dedicated Gaming & Esports Pavilion, spearheaded by Rajan Navani, Chairman & Managing Director of Jet line Group of companies and Founder & CEO of Jet Syntheses, along with Girish Menon, Chief Strategy Officer at Jet Synthesis. This pavilion aims to provide avenues for growth, showcase opportunities, and discuss strategies to elevate Indian gaming studios to a global level.
India's gaming industry, with over 450 million gamers, is on a trajectory of exponential growth, fuelled by the rising popularity of esports among Gen-Z and the hosting of international tournaments. Jet Syntheses, a key player in India's gaming and esports scene, is at the forefront of driving innovation and shaping the industry.
Expressing enthusiasm about the pavilion's potential impact, Rajan Navani emphasized its role in fortifying the gaming and esports landscape in India. To showcase the capabilities and opportunities within the Indian gaming and esports industry, the pavilion will host various activities, including:
1. Esports Tournament – Sky sports will organize an esports tournament featuring Real Cricket and Sachin Saga from March 18th to 20th. Real Cricket, with over 300 million downloads, offers a realistic cricket simulation experience, while Sachin Saga celebrates India's cricketing culture with iconic matches of Sachin Tendulkar. The tournament will feature a prize pool of INR 70,000 for Real Cricket and INR 30,000 for Sachin Saga.
2. Global e-Cricket Premier League (GEPL) Season 2 Announcement – GEPL, the world's largest e-cricket and entertainment league, will unveil Season 2 on March 18th. This league provides a platform for budding talent and delivers top-tier content for viewers. The announcement will feature discussions with industry leaders including Rohit Potholder, CEO & League Commissioner of GEPL, and Anuj Mankar, CEO of Nautilus Mobile App Pvt. Ltd.
On the last day of the event, March 20th, industry professionals will host career masterclasses, offering insights into opportunities within the gaming and esports fields.
