Skye Air Mobility, a drone startup, secures 10 government contracts for the delivery of medical supplies.

Skye Air Mobility, founded in 2019 by Ankit Kumar, Swapnik Jakkampudi, and Chandra Prakash, is a drone delivery startup with a primary focus on sectors including healthcare, ecommerce, quick commerce, and agriculture. Recently, the company announced securing contracts from 10 government medical institutions. These contracts will enable the institutes, including six AIIMS and three regional leprosy regional centres, located in states such as Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Odisha, Manipur, Bihar, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, to utilize Skye Air's drone mobility solutions for the efficient delivery of essential medical supplies in temperature-controlled boxes. The deployment of these solutions is expected to be completed in the coming weeks. Ankit Kumar, the founder and CEO of Skye Air Mobility, expressed excitement about collaborating with these esteemed healthcare institutions and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, highlighting the substantial opportunity these contracts provide to align efforts with the visionary goals of the Ministry.
