Pushkaraj Bidwai has been promoted to CEO and board member of People Matters. Previously serving as the chief business officer, Bidwai takes over from founder and former CEO Ester Martinez, who is stepping down after 15 years to pursue personal interests. Since joining People Matters in 2017, Bidwai has been instrumental in expanding the company's reach into six new countries. As a founding member, he has helped shape its vision and has been groomed for this leadership role as part of a planned succession. Last year, Mynavi Corporation, a Japan-based company, acquired a majority stake in People Matters to grow its business in India and Asia. People Matters, which already has offices in countries like the USA, South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Poland, and India, aims to become a global brand under Bidwai's leadership. The company plans to leverage technology, data, and AI to transform the people and work sector. Additionally, long-term employees will be able to exercise their ESOP rights and take advantage of a cash-out option. Based in Gurugram, People Matters provides research and content on HR, organizational design, and worktech to a community of 500,000 HR and talent leaders across India and the APAC region, focusing on professionals aged 25 to 36 with at least three years of HR experience.
