Gokiwinow, a startup specializing in credit card management solutions, successfully raises $13 million (INR 108 crore) in funding, led by Omidyar Network India. Headquartered in Bengaluru, the company intends to use the newly acquired capital to expand its 'credit cards on UPI' services nationwide. As an authorized UPI third-party app certified by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), Kiwi currently boasts a portfolio of 25,000 issued credit cards and aims to onboard 500,000 customers by the conclusion of 2024.
Since its launch in November 2022, Kiwi has introduced "credit cards with UPI" by issuing digital RuPay Cards in collaboration with banking institutions. The mobile application provided by Kiwi empowers users to conduct secure payments, utilizing either a credit card or a bank account directly through their smartphones.
