Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea Tariff Increase: How Much You Can Save by Recharging Before July 3

"If you're a prepaid Jio or Airtel customer, July 2 is your last chance to save money on recharges before the tariff hike on July 3. Prepaid recharges will remain active despite price increases or plan discontinuations. Postpaid customers are not eligible for these savings.

Jio was the first to announce a 12 to 27 percent tariff increase on June 27, followed by Airtel with an 11 percent hike. Vodafone Idea (Vi) will implement its tariff hikes on July 4. Unfortunately for Vi prepaid customers, multiple recharges cannot be queued. Each recharge extends validity immediately, but benefits begin right away.

Airtel customers should note that not all plans can be combined for queuing recharges. Plans with daily data limits cannot be combined with those without. Airtel allows for validity extension up to 730 days with subsequent recharges before the current one expires, but details on the number of recharges that can be queued are unclear.
