ISRO will provide guidance and support to women aspiring to start their own businesses.

Now, a beacon of guidance has emerged for women with startup aspirations and educators who aim to ignite their students' entrepreneurial spirits.

In Thiruvananthapuram, the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) and ISRO Inertial Systems Unit (IISU) have introduced a workshop called 'Empower' focused on women's entrepreneurship. This initiative aims to assist women students and teachers from technical universities and engineering colleges across the state in navigating the complexities of starting a business.

Participants, consisting of teams of three members, were selected based on their submission of startup ideas. These teams will have the opportunity to present their proposals before a panel of scientists from VSSC/IISU at VSSC in Thiruvananthapuram on March 7.

The team with the most promising proposal will receive recognition, while all participating teams will be awarded certificates. This initiative aims to empower women and educators in pursuing entrepreneurial ventures and inspiring future generations.
