The Indian startup ecosystem is known for its vibrancy and innovative spirit, but last week, there was a noticeable drop in funding activity. From August 5 to August 10, Indian startups secured a total of $112.9 million across 22 deals, which is nearly half of the $222.2 million raised from 25 deals in the preceding week. This significant reduction in funding is attributed to heightened geopolitical tensions globally, leading to a more cautious approach by investors in an unpredictable international environment.
