IIT Kanpur (IITK) and Blockchain For Impact (BFI) forged a strategic collaboration on April 16, 2024, with the aim of driving healthcare innovation in India. This partnership falls under the BFI-Biome Virtual Network Program and involves an investment exceeding $150,000 spread over three years. The primary focus is to strengthen healthcare-focused startups within IIT Kanpur's Startup Incubation & Innovation Centre (SIIC). By leveraging IIT Kanpur's successful track record in fostering entrepreneurship and BFI's dedication to advancing biomedical research, the alliance seeks to address critical healthcare challenges in India.
