On Monday, InsurTech startup CoverSure announced it raised $4 million in a pre-series A funding round led by Enam Holdings. This investment will support CoverSure's efforts to create a consumer-focused insurance engagement platform and expand its operations in India. Founded in January 2023, CoverSure offers a platform that caters to all customer insurance needs, providing a personalized, spam-free advisory service for both existing policyholders and new customers. The company emphasizes a personalized insurance portfolio, democratized risk management, and family-centric insurance care. CoverSure anticipates significant growth in insurance adoption due to regulatory leniency.

CirclePe Raises $1 Million in Pre-Seed Round Led by OTP Ventures

Property tech platform CirclePe secured nearly $1 million in a pre-seed round led by OTP Ventures, with additional investment from 1947 Rise, iSeed, IIT Delhi, and Venture Catalyst. Founders and executives from companies like OfBusiness, BharatPe, Uni Cards, and OYO also participated. CirclePe offers a fintech solution for urban tenants, landlords, and co-living operators with its "Smart Renting" option, allowing creditworthy tenants to move in with zero security deposit and only pay their monthly rent without extra charges.

Bounce Infinity Introduces Battery-Swappable Infinity E1 Scooter Variant

Bounce Infinity announced on Monday the launch of a new battery-swappable variant of its Infinity E1 scooter, named Bounce Infinity E1X. Available nationwide from June 2024, the E1X can be used with major battery swapping networks in India and customized for new networks. Priced between Rs 55,000 to Rs 59,000 ex-showroom, it offers low acquisition and running costs, with energy expenses of just Rs 1 to Rs 1.5 per kilometer. The battery swapping feature allows long-distance travelers to swap depleted batteries for charged ones at network stations via a mobile app. Bounce offers the Infinity E1X in two-speed variants, 55 kmph and 65 kmph, and is developing a faster 92 kmph variant for export markets.
