Astute Synergies Private Limited, an energy-tech startup, is poised to revolutionize the biogas sector by addressing the significant issue of high installation costs for CBG plants.

According to the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell, India's gas production stands at 29,769 million metric standard cubic metres (mmscm), while consumption is at 55,256 mmscm, creating a deficit of 25,488 mmscm, or 46.12% of total consumption, which is currently met through imports. CBG has the potential to reduce this gap, but high installation costs and methane loss during production pose major challenges. Astute Synergies is tackling these problems with advanced membrane technology, aiming to drastically cut these costs.
