In the latest episode of Shark Tank India, Aman Gupta, the founder of boAt, declined a pitch from Daak Room, a startup focused on promoting physical writing. Despite receiving praise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their efforts, Gupta deemed their business model as not viable, stating, "It's not business." He explained that while he admired their passion for writing, he couldn't personally relate to it and therefore couldn't contribute much value. Ultimately, Daak Room struck a deal with Ritesh Agarwal, securing Rs 36 lakh for a 6% stake, with potential adjustments based on meeting revenue targets. This season of Shark Tank India features not only the original judges Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Peyush, Aman, and Vineeta but also new additions such as Deepinder Goyal, Azhar Iqubal, Ritesh Agarwal, Radhika, Varun Dua, and Ronnie Screwvala.
Aman Gupta, a participant on Shark Tank India 3, turned down a startup that had received praise from Prime Minister Modi, stating that it didn't align with his vision for a viable business venture.
