Employability Bridge, a First Meridian Company and a leading talent acquisition and placement organization, in collaboration with Sri City Integrated Business City, hosted the 'Flag (First Look at Aspiring Graduates) Intelligent Job Fair' at the Sri City Trade Centre on Tuesday. This event gathered 10 notable manufacturing companies and over 380 talented candidates, including recent graduates with engineering degrees, diplomas, and ITI qualifications from 2022, 2023, and 2024. Out of the 363 candidates who were screened, they had the opportunity to choose the companies they wished to interview with. The candidates came from various colleges across Andhra Pradesh, predominantly from Nellore and Tirupati districts. Ultimately, 150 candidates received job offers from the participating companies.
This innovative hiring event aimed to connect Sri City's industrial units with qualified job seekers using advanced technology to streamline the selection process and ensure optimal matches between candidates and employers. The job fair attracted various industrial units such as Alf Engineering, NS Nippon Seiki, Brakes India, Daikin, Axeelent, Toray, Astrotech Steel, Sundaram Fasteners, and Alstom, all of which used the event to recruit new employees.
EmployabilityBridge's sophisticated platform played a crucial role, allowing companies to access a diverse talent pool from multiple colleges in a single day. Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder and Managing Director of Sri City, emphasised the importance of investing in the workforce for sustained growth and praised the partnership with EmployabilityBridge and the FLAG initiative for aligning with their vision.
